Is it possible to insert different background pictures, and for example, replace the image of the shark in the videos page to a photo of my own choosing?

Depends if you mean original PM3 or PM3.HD
In PM3.HD you can do it in skin settings
in PM3 you will need to get the original image files and recompile the xpr
