Here are some screens, you can see Aqua Teen has fanart showing, while Apocalypse Now does not.... If I go into movie information the fan art does in fact show...





UPDATE: I see some files are being labeled and having the Fan Art Added in the sub folder rather than the containing folder i.e. when I point at F:\Videos\Avatar I get nothing, when I point at F:\Videos\Avatar\Avatar.iso I see the thumbnail and fan art.... how can I get the thumb and fan art applied to the containing folder?

Great skin, the "custom button" - can that be modified to link to a plugin instead of scripts? eg: I want to have iPlayer in the menu with out hacking the other menus to bits

"left" in the home screen gives you the option to go to favourites.

I'd much rather have hitting "left" show the favourites directly, instead of just giving me the option, thus getting rid of an unnecessary indirection. Is that possible?

I don't understand what it isn't that way to begin with. What's the advantage of the need for the extra "click"?

Anyone know where I can find the original mediastream backgrounds? There's a few of those that I'd like to use instead of the ones in redux. No offense, but the Ibanez bass guitar as the music background really takes the classiness of the skin down for me.

Thanks Jezz. I believe I've seen what you're talking about with the backgrounds in my previous attempts find these backgrounds, but they're all individually in the Media folder as PNG files. Does the current skinning in Dharma work best with PNG, JPEG, BMP, etc?

Does MediaStream Redux support dds for the homepage backgrounds? I have converted all the backgrounds myself to .dds but I don't know what file to edit to point to the backgrounds. Additionally, the background selection option in the preferences doesn't seem to allow choosing .dds files. Thanks in advance.

nevermind, I figured it out. DDS is supported (although the benefits aren't what I was hoping for). For anyone else that's interested, the .jpg image references are in /720p/Home.xml and /720p/Settings.xml

Jezz, any way to make the backgrounds on the homepage crossfade *after* the text has finished scrolling? On my revo box the smoothness of the text is sometimes choppy while scrolling, presumably because the backgrounds are simultaneously trying to crossfade. This is the way "mediastream mod" appears to work on my original modded Xbox

I am a great fan of your MediaStream Skin! I am having some problems running a feature within XBMC called XBMC Subtitles. When I select your skin. the Video OSD function settings is disappearing from the menu. And I am not able to use this feature when watching movies. I checked with Amet http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=75437&page=64 yesterday and he thinks its not yet supported in your skin. Can you please let me know if this is true, and if this can be easily fixed?

Would be a pity if I have to use a different scan because of this. :-(

I'm hoping to get some help on here, as I am using the Jezz-X remake

How do I add Pandora to the Horizontal Main Menu? I can't figure this one out, Pandora is a menu item on my vertical menu but when I switch over to the horizontal layout it is not there. I added the "Item ID" in both home.xml and home(horizontal).xml. I'll attach a pastbin of both .xml's
