Hi guys,

First of all: I love the Night skin! However, I would fancy it being a bit brighter.

While I understand the skin is called "Night" for a reason I still wonder if there is a way to remove o soften the dark transparency layer which is included in many views and the home menu too. (The one that makes the fanarts getting darker at the sides, corners and under text areas.)

So: Is there a way to get a brighter Night?

Yeah, I know about the option and the properties are shown correctly... However, often there is a dark layer above the fanart (e.g. the poster view). Would be nice if I were able to configure how dark the layer should be - a variable in the code would be fine for me.

(Point is: I got an ambilight TV, so I want the sides of my TV to be bright ;-) )

look in the code and remove the dark texture. it's easier if u use the git version cause then u can find the texture name and then search the code to remove it.
