after installation of Dharma RC1. They appear only when chosen.
What am I doing wrong?

So just to clarify - do you mean that your custom home shortcuts' icons don't show on the home screen?

When you say "they appear only when chosen" - do they then show up fine?

Shortcut icons appeared only when the shortcut was active, and disappeared when it was inactive. Issue was fixed by setting icons again. Thanks for noticing the thread=)

What happened to lower home screen strip option? I can't find it in the new version=(

No it's gone - it got replaced with the new simplified controls option.
