The only one you need is movie.tbn
soundbyte Wrote:Can someone explain to me why every movie I scrape with ember has 7 images for each movie that are identical?
folder.jpg, movie.jpg, poster.jpg, <Movie title>.jpg, movie.tbn, poster.tbn, and <Move title>.tbn are all IDENTICAL. I dont understand the need for this redundancy at all.
I'm assuming XBMC looks for different files for different uses, but are duplicate .tbn and .jpg needed? I guess I don't really understand what each of these files are for and while they are all needed. Any help?
EDIT: I noticed now that my settings show that I have multiple boxes checked for "Poster"...can someone tell me what the minimum options I should check? Or do I only need 1 (and will anyone work?)
olympia Wrote:Or just leave it as it was by default.
Default settings are only saving the minimum.
But probably you wanted to be smarter and checked all...
I am always amazed by this behaviour. People don't know what they are doing, but they check every checkbox they find because the more can only be better.
soundbyte Wrote:I actually got the setup from a friend...but I understand it now and fixed it. After seeing a fresh install, I guess the explanation by Ember of the naming structure could be better explained. But none the less, it's all sorted out now. Thanks everyone!

RogueDazza Wrote:For those who are interested, I have uploaded a scraper module that is based on the original scraper but that works with the new IMDB site changes (without the Full Cast work-around). It should also work for scraping only specific types of information (Data only, etc.)
I have also tweaked the single-scraper code to improve the performance.
Look for it in the Download Add-Ons -> Modules section of Ember - should be easy to spot :-)
Let me know if there are any issues with it and I will try to solve them.
