is it just me or is everyone having problems with EMM??.
i tried to install it on my friends computer but it just keeps saying "There is an error in XML document (2,2).

Read the last few pages. Everyone is having issues as the website is down.

Maybe a mod should edit the first post or the title until/if the devs get back?

also i have just installed dharma and tried to install the showmix skin, i downloaded both files (xbmc dharma and showmix) from the same place but it won't seem to let me install showmix. i went to addons and "install from zip" but it doesn't even see it. has anybody got any ideas as its begining to **** me off now!!. thanks

Try installing the unpacked version in the addons directory? Otherwise try to find some help overhere: http://forum.xbmc.org/forumdisplay.php?fid=68 or here http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=82899

Yeah thats what i already thought, so i posted those links so you could post the same question overthere. And you might want to add some extra information like operating system, version numbers of the skin and xbmc, screenshot of the directory where you dropped the skin, etc Big Grin

Is there any way to just "refresh" the ratings for all movies? Ive noticed that imdb ratings for new movies change quite often and wondering if there is a way to just simply refresh all the movie ratings

Ember Media Manager - Revisited

Unfortunately it looks like Ember is gone for good.

Lucky for you, I had a copy of EMM's source code on my desktop. I have edited it somewhat to allow you to install a fresh copy / reinstall. From what i currently use out of EMM everything is working now from a fresh install.

There is still some cleaning up to do with the embermm.com download code and i will / might get to it eventually. Smile

To install
unrar to any directory.
run EMM executable.

I have a question, I have used Ember Media Manager for a while and there is one annoyance that I wanted to see if it could be resolved. Currently lets say there are a few movies with the folder name "Movie Name DVDRip Xvid blah" Upon finishing I have duplicate folders and have to delete the old folder name because there will be a file inside the folder called "Movie Name DVDRip Xvid Blah.nfo" and that is the only file, the other folder with the vide wil be properly under "Movie Name (2010)" and all the files inside properly renamed. My annoyance which if I remember correctly did not happen a long time ago is that the old folder name does not get "renamed" but remains there somehow, nor does it get deleted afterwards.

I hope I explained myself, I am open to suggestions on what to try.
