@steppedup: For that pic you linked, are you saying you'd like that to be the tv shows page when someone goes to your profile? I like the look of the wide banners. I was thinking of going poster style but I'll try both to see what works best.
@hdmax: I haven't seen any problems with the server. That message will also show when XBMC is offline. Any chance your connection dropped or is a bit flaky?
@wbread99: Internet speed shouldn't be an issue since it's a small amount of info it sends, it just needs the connection to be there when the update is sent. Any chance the network connection wasn't active, and is it wireless or wired? And yes, I am currently working on redesigning the movies page. The current layout doesn't really work for popular movies with hundreds of owners. I'll be adding a very clear indicator that will show on each movie page a "Yes, I own this" or "Do not own this" icon so you'll know right away on a movie page if you have it or not already.
@Shinu: Thanks! For collections as big as yours (nice by the way!), I agree, it's hard to figure out which ones didn't make it onto the site. I want to improve this because I think most collectors care about having their collection exactly as they have it locally. Pretty soon down the road I'm planning to add a feature that lets you view which movies weren't added in your most recent update and the reason why. Some reasons: not on tmdb, no year or imdb id sent, foreign text that's unrecognize, etc. I think this will solve your problem.
Thanks everyone for the continuing support of the site: we passed 200,000 owned movies today and saw a big spike in new users as well. All the feedback has helped a ton. I'm really excited to launch the new Oscars page once the nominations are released, and I'm hoping a lot of film fans will comment on those movies and get some discussions going around them. After that comes the redesign of the movie page and some general design fixes. Then, after that, we'll see
