I am still convinced that with the right ImageMagick trick, slide production could be scripted to have the images produced using a template and a text file. This would allow one script to be used to insert questions and answers in a fairly configurable manner.

Real quick question, Cinema Experience works on night and transparency for me, but not aeon 65, the log shows it is trying to open the old home theater experience default.py file not the new one, can someone tell me what file I beed to change for aeon65 to see the correct path?

Question.
Does/can Cinema Experience send xbmc data using the UDP broadcast event system of xbmc ?

For instance I would like Cinema Experience to send the movie name by using a UDP broadcast when you click on the "cinema experience button inside the movie information window" so that I can use that broadcast and use it's data in another program say vox commando, so that vox commando can say something like "enjoy movie X"

What syntax did you use to create the button to kick it off? You will probably have to change that to use the new script.

Thanks Slaveunit, I got it working. I checked under DialogVideoinfo the onclick was set for hometheatherscript so I just changed it and bam it works again =)

On a different note, would it be hard to add say different profiles to this script? e.g say in one profile you would have say the slide show and 1 trailer playing (streaming) and then have another profile you can set to have no slide show and a downloaded trailer.

That's something I was just thinking of last night. Because when Im home with the GF I like one personal intro and nothing else really. but when friends are over I like the whole thing to run. This is a question for giftie though.

The next version of the script will be out later this week. The biggest change is that it allows Multiple Features, with Intermission Videos and Audio Format Videos(that match the next movie). It's also more or less a single button press to select the movie and can be run from the Home Window. This feature will make the script feel truly as a part of XBMC.

Right now I am the only one able to enjoy this script this way as the skin needs to be slightly modified to add a button. But it can be run directly from the Addons list as well.

I have modified versions of Night and Transperency!(XBMC Repo version and SVN Versions) as these are my primary skins that are used. It should not be to hard to add the modifications to any skin.

If you want to be part of the testing of what will become version 1.2 please PM me with you're primary skin(I might make the modifications for you, though you can test by running the script directly from the addon window)

Don't forget, send me a PM, so we don't flood this forum thread...

Can we ask the xbmc team if this addon can be integrated with the default confluence skin?

Though I doubt it will be added, you can always try.. A more general approach is to see if Jezz_X would add a custom button(s) to the Home Window to run an Addon(thats all my modifications are really) It can be added to the programs through settings(pops up as a favorite).

I know they try to keep Confluence a polished generic skin.

It doesn't hurt to ask...

Oh.. And I could update Confluence's Home Window as well, it is a fairly simple modification(easier than the Modification to the DialogInfo Window..)

I believe this has already been added to the trunk and will be included in 10.1.

Hi, I'd like to contribute a tiny bit to this wonderful script.

I made 1080p and 720p movie versions for the MPAA ratings.
For this I used the PNG files from the MPAA Ratings by v0lrath.

Duration 4s.

Usage: unzip the Ratings folder to your Cinema Experience folder, rename the extensions from .mov to .avi
