need more detail debug message. please change the debug mode of utorrent plugin and paste the log file again. change debug mode in this way: modify line 5
in script file plugin.program.utorrent\resources\lib\utilities.py , change to 'DEBUG_MODE = 4'

Hi, it's my first post and my first plugin with XBMC.

I use XBMC 10.0 with Win. XP SP3 32bit and utorrent 2.2

I tried tu use your plugin in V. 1.0.5

I use XBMC and utorrent on the same machine: config plugin

I was wondering if this pug in could get a feature that puts a pop up when a download finishes in utorrent. I was thinking just like when a plug in updates in XBMC you get that nice little pop up that informs you. For me that would be the best feature, as most my downloads are via RSS, and I just want to know that something has finished if i am currently watching a show.

Do you think there's any chance of a slight alteration of the structure such that "pause/resume all torrents" is accessible outside of the context menu?

I want to be able to select that function as a favourite, so I can add it to the Backrow skin as a direct submenu button.

Hi guys,

I am very interested in this plugin, but It doesn't work here.. I'm using the latest version of XBMC, and the newest version of uTorrent.. I have enabled WebUI, and use the samed settings in XBMC as in utorrent.. When I enter the plugin I get the message: "Fail to connect to daemon. Are you change settings now?"

Anyone an idea what it can be?

Yeah I am having the same problem I have the latest version of XBMC and the newest version of uTorrent but when I try to use the plug I get the message(Fail to connect to daemon) the WebUI is enable on utorrent I setup a password and use that password on XBMC I still a newbie with XBMC ANY HELP!

3 Things:

1. Is utorrent running on the same machine as XBMC?

2. What IP address are you using-- your external IP, or your internal LAN IP? If on the same computer as utorrent, try using "localhost" instead of the ip adress.

3. If you want to use your external IP address, be sure to forward the port.

This utorrent addon doesn't work with the pre-eden XBMC nightlies.

Using the exact same settings it works fine in Dharma, but I get the same Daemon error using latest nightlies.

Hopefully a fix can be released soon, although there doesn't seem to be much activity here by the author of the addon....

Great plugin, works well. I was just wondering if there was a way to add the ratio of each torrent. I like to share back to 1:1 before I delete and this would be super helpful.

And if it's still not working try to change the port your using
you need to get it working in your browser before using it in xbmc if it's not working in your browser there no way it's going to work in xbmc.
