This seems to be a bug in the youtube plugin. I tried this in Confluence and Alaska Revisted and in both skins the youtube plugin defaults to whatever view it has as default, no matter what viewtype you set.

Good call. Looked at advanced YouTube settings and it was all there. Seems to effect only compliant skins.

I would love a lighter wall view for vids. Even on large icons it's not the 60fps like behavior of other parts of the skin on my revo3610.

In what view it doesn't work? I tested it just now and for me it works in Landscape, Showcase and DVD Case. It's true it's not implemented in music library. I will add that in the music views also.
The filebrowser bug is now fixed in svn. btw the same bug is also in Confluence.

oh sry forget to mention I'd this in the Showcase-View (Movie-Library).

edit: I checked it once again, this little bug appears only, if also no-CoverFlow is activated in the ShowCase-View.

Is it able to create buttons at the homescreen like "musikvideos" or "concerts" or how do I can change the path of the "video" button? I activatet the button "Filme" and both buttons (filme and videos) went to the same destination. I would like to have the option to create individual homescreen buttons. Is it possible?

If I use the "showcase" view and push the button up to get a detailed view of the Movie, there is no scrolling from the plot. If I push "i" for more information there is a scrolling if "auto scrolling for plot & review" is enabled. Is it possible to get an auto scrolling in the first view when pushing the "up" button?

You can, but not through the GUI. You would have to manually edit the home.xml. I don't think I will add support for custom home menu items. You can however add playlist shortcuts to the sub-menu.
Videos should open the video files window and movies should open the videolibrary btw, at least it does on my system.

All plot and plotoutline textboxes in this skin have autoscrolling if it is enabled in the settings. I just checked it and it seems to work fine.

i´m new in the xbmc scene and i´m in the finding phase which skin was the best for me. The AEon MQ2 is a very nice skin, but my atom is not fast enough. So i went to your skin and it is very very nice and smooth.

3 Problems for me

1. The Home buttons many user ask for that feature like in mq2 and i ask also Because the woman acception factor is better. Woman and technics there is a submenu to much . I only need 3 Buttons on home. Movie Serie and Childserie. Is there a guide for new user how i could manuell add these buttons or could i as example rename music to Childseries and make a link that this Button goes to my Genre Childseries and the Originalbutton Series goes to my Genre Series for adult ?

2. Is there any chance that you build in an settings to switch between codec prompt and source promt. So that i could see in Showcase in the left corner not h264 but BluRay ?

3. Is there any chance that you build in a setting for fixed list in showcase view ? so that the cover never start from the beginning ?

4. Is there any chance that you build in "use fanart images from collection to the item Movie and TV Shows in the Main Menu" ?

1: In next version I will put 3 video playlist buttons to customize the home menu with (I just added this in svn).
2: The code is already there, I just have to make it visible through an option. Will do that in next release.
3: Showcase view is actually outside the list, so it probably won't make any difference if it's a fixed list.
4: You can do this by editing the background in the skin settings. Your fanart is stored in the profile folder: \userdata\Thumbnails\Video\Fanart, so just use that folder.

No, I added textures since then. You can put the files danofun added next to the textures.xbt in the media folder.

Will your answer to 1. mean that i could simple add an button called Childseries to the Homescreen ?
Look at Cirrus Skin. The i could simple add custom icons to Home screen, th euser must inly add a name and then what favorites it should be. Very very simple and i and all others would like to see that in your skin. It would perfekt !!!!!
What means "Showcase view is actually outside the list" ? Why could there no fixed list ?

Last but not least i mean an automatic change of fanart from the database fanarts. When i go on movie button then there will appear a fanart from the moviecollection, when i go to tv serie there will a fanart from the tv collection

Hope your next version will come very soon

I will make it optional. I made that because with my laggy harmony one remote I sometime push on shutdown when I want to enter system, which is very frustating.

Explore the harmony repeat rates and delays via troubleshooting. Also look up remote delays and repeats in the advanced settings XML of xbmc. You should be able to make it respond instantly.

Big Noid, its possible to have Random Fanart from our library in the Homescreen for movies and tv shows?

The second one, its possible to change the Trailers Source? Cause the one we use, its alwasy buffering, making it impossible to watch.
