This is a truly nice plugin!!! Very nice and handy when I'm away from home and want to check with my mates my movies list to pick which one to watch.
As a wanted feature, I would like the list to also track the TV Series - in collaboration with thetvdb maybe?

Hello. I just found this add-on yesterday and so far, I love it. Great job! I have a couple questions if someone wouldnt mind setting me straight....
1 - am I missing a setting to allow the web-list to show as a list and not as cover images?
2 - is there a report feature to show the list of what movies we have? To print a list of hundreds of movies using cover art would take up 20+ pages?

It would be great if one could get a text list of all the movies. Anyone know how to do this with XBMC?

My next feature will be a print button, which opens a new window with a printable, text list of all movies. This should cover your request restlessrealm and bnb. I'll put up a note here when it's done.

Went through a few of the pages (but didn't find anything relevant), but can't find any info. I just added this which looks to be a super addon for my library, have an account, configured it correctly. However, the Update button is greyed out and even when I manually readd a movie to my library, nothing shows up on the website.
Nothing is logged in xbmc.log (even with debug logging on) so I'm a bit clueless as to what I'm missing. It can't be the amount of movies (just north of 600) since that isn't a very extreme number. I'd get a delay with my Tv-shows (just north of 9000 episodes) but it's been well over an hour after I configured it and nothing yet.
What obvious thing am I missing?

The 'Update' button is greyed out because that's the update button for getting a new version of the addon. Couple of steps to double check:
In the apps section where your addons are installed (depending on the skin, this changes), your account is configured properly? Hit enter on the 'ShareThe.TV' listing there. It should either trigger a successful update or it should show an error.
If there still isn't anything happening, make sure debug mode is enabled in the settings for the app as well as for xmbc. Then, your debug log will contain entries related to the addon. Which skin are you using?

At work right now so I can't try until tonight. I just went into addons and configured it there, nothing after that. Did I miss that I have to go into Programs (or the equivalent) and run it once from there?
Using Backrow as skin. Will look further tonight, thanks for the reply.

I have installed the addon, configured it, enabled it, but nothing happens. When i try to start the addon, nothing happens. I unistalled everything and reinstalled - the issue remains. Any advices? ThanX

One suggestion. I want to be able to peruse the web site to get ideas of movies to add to my library. On the Home page you have 16 of the recently added movies. On the Movies page you have the 2 Top Movie lists.
I would love to see more movies from others that are not necessarily the top releases... I know I can pick a movie and see relevant movies....
Is it possible to have a page that lists (via several pages) all the movies in the users database, sorted by added date, or by how many people own them, genre, decade, etc). This would be the equivalent of going to the video store and browsing the shelves to see what looks interesting.
What do you think?

It would be really great if you could compare the movies you have to someone elses account.
Also being able to see the quality of the movies (such as SD, 720p, 1080p) would be really helpful.

Just an idea, but how about an option to view the movies from the bottom up i.e. those who have movies that no one else has, or only a couple of people have? The bottom list.
I guess most people who use this plugin are movie aficionados of some sort, and personally, as well as the well know movies, I like to search out and find those little known movies, the ones that did not receive the glitz and glamour that Hollywood brings. I have recently tracked down some interesting Danish films (no smutty comments please, I'm British
) through trawling other people's collections. There is a world of film out there, and I am always prepared to watch something with subtitles when it's a good film.
