Thanks for the fix! Was going crazy why I was getting recentlyadded errors with every skin but Confluence... When will this be in git?

Hello - i have an external mySQL database. Since 10.1 and above (nightly builds) i get the RecentlyAdded.py error. When downgrading again to 10.0 my SQL still is corrupt.

So i started some tests here. First of all i took my old vmware with mySQL (backup) and installed 10.0 on my HTPC. Starting XBMC -> connection to mySQL works.
Upgrading to 10.1 -> starting XBMC -> Recentlyadded.py error.
Downgrading to 10.0 -> starting XBMC -> Recentlyadded.py error.
Replacing mySQL db -> starting XBMC -> connection works, full db access.
Upgrading to 10.1 -> starting XBMC -> Recentlyadded.py error.

I've tested this on three HTPCs so far and everytime when 10.1 or above nightly build is used the mySQL will be unuseable after downgrading.

Any idea?

Hi, Am having a problem with recently added script on the home screen appearing blank.

I have setup mysql on my imac and the DB is working with my 2 atv imac and macbook pro.

but on all 4 devices i get RecentlyAdded.py error

iMac and macbook running 10.1
apple tv 2 is using official version 10.7
apple tv 2 (my second 1) is running unofficial nightly build

I guess 10.1 has changed the database fields but we can't change the script yet to reflect this until more people update.

Does anyone know if it is possible to pull logo's (logo.png) from your tv show folder using the script on the homepage. I know it is possible with the nextaired script, but I would also like to try it with tv shows on my homepage for recently added.

Works fine for TV Shows and Movies, but Music doesn't work for me.

I see the artist name, but no album and if I click on one of them nothing happens.

Is this a known issu, or did I anything wrong?

that's most likely a skin issue.
you should ask the skin dev of the skin you're using to have a look at these posts:

I'm using a skin of my own, so I have to ask myself - but have no answer Wink

I tried the latest skin version of "night" and "alaska" but no skin looks to work for with the "recently added music".

Here is my setup:

- Win7 32bit
- latest nightly XBMC Version
- Post Dharma "recently added" script

Can you give me an example of a working skin with the Post Dharma recently added script?

Ok, tried your T! (SVN) Skin. Seems to work there. So, now I have to study your code, to find the part I have to change for my own skin. Big Grin

Script is still failing for me in the nightlies in any skin I have that uses it.

Is there a step I missed other that uploading this version into the addons folder?
