@castortray First! download the 5.13.11 and replace the whole skin folder with this new one, this one has the showing tonight option.( everything is the same otherwise, except i updated some code to shorten it and then smooth out some banners and added the network logos) ( that version and forward has it) then try removing folder.jpg from the folders, i think it may be conflicting with the banner.jpg also you should refresh the tv show(s) after you do that to make xbmc see that it folder.jpg is gone and that the banner.jpg is still there. after you verify all your folders have the correct files ( all i have in my folder is logo, clearart, poster,banner and fanart). then you should delete the tv show net aired db. (AppData\Roaming\XBMC\userdata\addon_data\script.tv.show.next.aired) it will recreate it once xbmc is relaunched. let me know how that works. but 5.13.11 is where u need to start

still working on the flagging images , got it figured out just finding the best way to implement it. have 3 options. and then trying to fix some sizing issue with the flagging. then i will look into the movie genre implementing options. also im sure i could use images in horizontal, isnt hard at all, jsut need the images , BUT i solely use vertical alignment , so i could do it for you as a favor but its low on the list for me, sorry.

Could someone pls give me a hint on how to add a vertical scrollbar next to the thumbnail view of the posters (bottom half)? Currently I scroll through that region with my mouse's scroll wheel but I would also like this other facility to scroll through the list. Also it may serve as an indicator where about I am in the list.

Any pointer will (probably) help.

@castortray and @stolek5 what skin or mod/skin features the genre icons like u saw. if you point me there so i can have a first hand look at how it interacts with another skin, that would be helpful. then i can fully added it to confluence, i have finished my media flagging upgrade. Nice i think . and the tv guide is all done, so ow im on to your genre icons. ive started adding it, but want to see how it looks in another skin or mod to add to mine. thank d for the pointers.

hmm, I did what you write,

I downloaded 5.13.11 delete script.tv.show.next.aired and folder.jpg from tv shows but your skin in XBMC skin is visible as 5.6.11 (so I'm not sure If I have correct version)
Also I noticed that banners on tv guide are not the same which I have in shows folders as banner.jpg (or folder.jpg), so I think that are downloaded directly from thetvdb.com.



also I still do not have "Showing tonight" , and my "banner view" and "view by day" in TV Guide are not smooth like you have in post 215

i will re-upload it, but make sure you delete or move the older version out of the addons folder , mayb move it somewhere else as a back up and put this the new one (5.13.11) skin.cruzan. http://www.mediafire.com/?51ljku41d817p48 ( i just verified this one works) i noticed when i tried ot load this, it was still showing my newer (5.15.11) version until i moved that one out of the addons folder even though i renamed it it still was choosing my new one. so i moved it out altogether and it picked up 5.13.11

I checked it and it works. It works perfect on mine. i believe the problem with ur banners are that xbmc is still using the cached ones. once you add banner logo etc.. to ur tv show folder you might want to refresh the skin or the tv show for it to pick it up ( i have a hot key loaded in my key map to reload the skin) but the refresh button in tv guide should do the same.

i also added some images for u to tell you when the tv show doesnt have a banner.jpg or logo.ong or poster.jpg ( should say no thumb available) that is saying either u dont have those files in the right folder for your tv show. or xbmc doesnt see it. how to generate, thumbnails ?,

I tried delete folder Thumbnails from C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\userdata (XBMC recreate it)
and run xbmc but it's the same also refres button in TV Schedule not help

and in those shows tha say no thumbnail , you are positive you have banner.jpg? if so , then yeah its a chaching problem . i think i had this once. and i think ifixed it by deleting the AppData\Roaming\XBMC\userdata\Database\textures.db im pretty sure it is using the textures.db to point to that file, which no longer exists. since you deleted it. and that file is also recreated when xbmc restarts. let me know if that fixes anything?
i would refresh the page twice and maybe restart xbmc twice to see if any cahnges happen

im just glad you got it working, since i was about to be out of ideas, since mine was working perfect.

i finished upgrading the flagging , they look much sweeter.. in color and better graphics i think than confluence default. but i think i will wait to uplaod that version (5.16.11) until i include the genre icons.working on it now.

unless u want me to upload the 5.16.11. but all i did for this upgrade ws flagging icons. let me know
