This is a very simple uncluttered guide to building XBMC PVR with Mythtv integration.

Ensure ALL build dependancies are upto date:

Get XBMC:

Code:

sudo apt-get install git-core

git clone https://github.com/dteirney/xbmc.git

cd xbmc

git branch -a

git checkout remotes/origin/pvr

Configure and Build:

Code:

./bootstrap

./configure

make -j2

sudo make install

UPDATING:

Code:

git pull [url]https://github.com/dteirney/xbmc.git[/url]
