Ok. I made a lot of improvement to error handling and feedback in 0.4.4, so perhaps it was related to your data somehow.
Anyway, if you have the time please try the latest version on github at https://github.com/twinther/script.moviequiz/ - its 0.5.0 for eden.
I don't use mysql myself, but I have made some tests and I think it is working, but it would be great if someone else could test as well Smile

calling all translators. If you can spare a little time please help with updating the translations. I think many of them are rather outdated, except English and Danish which I translate myself.

Just tried the Eden version, ad I love it!! Gret idea, thanks for doing it! Just of question - is it meant for only 1 player at a time? Is there any way to add multiplayer support? Smile

I guess you have version 0.5 (for EDEN) in zip format?

Would you mind sharing it with me?

Hi schumi,
You are probably missing this dependency for mysql support:

I really want to try this out but the install seems rather complex. Any chance it will be simplified when it is updated for Eden?

Sure, you will be able to install it directly from XBMC as you would with any other addon.

The installation instructions above are just for the impatient users Smile

so they can give it a try before it is added to the XBMC repository..

Hi guys,
the new version for eden is available in the official repo now.
the changelog is below.

Version 0.5.0 - 2011-12-07
- Improvied support for XBMC Eden
(and dropped support for XBMC Dharma - use v.0.4.x instead)
- Added Highscores browser in main menu
- New question type
- What TV show is this theme from?
(Uses TV show themes via the TvTunes addon)
