thanks to mad-max's help i have been able to tweak the skin a bit more to my liking the skin mod was already great there was just a few things i wanted to change to suit my own taste hopefully this is ok with mad-max here is what i have done to the rightlist view
i have removed the poster, the show logo, and the studio logo (these were blocking the fanart
i also made the background behind the list transparent to once again see more of the fanart
and once i did this the text was a little harder to read as there was no contrast so i changed the unselected text from grey to a brighter white colour and then as change the text colour of currently selected item to red so it would stand out
below is a screenshot of what i did as well i have uploaded the xml to mediafire as it is a better free file hoster no waiting times like megaupload or others
btw you cannot see it in the screenshot as it dissapears when you move the mouse away but the blue glowing on the currently selected item is still there

if anyone wants me to change the colour from red to another one let me know i couldnt decide what was a better colour to use
