How do I Add Libraries?
#1
I know how to do it.. it just isn't working for me. I'm in Video Settings, trying to add a new library source. I have all my movies in a folder called movies on an external drive (KSmile and when I select the folder it only gives me an option to cancel.

Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance, very frustrated and would love to get this working.

You say you know how to do it, but yet it does not work?
I suggest you read this page and the pages it links to carefully and return with specific questions.

Video Settings btw is not really somewhere you want to be while setting up the library.

When I say I know how to use them, I mean it seems that I know what I should do, but it doesn't work.

I checked the link, but it doesn't really help me.

All I want to do is get XBMC to see the movies on my external hard drive. Anyone?

I think you need to add a source, not a library.. Your external hard drive must be mapped with a drive letter on your pc.. works fine for me..

I can only reiterate what is already in this page..what have you tried? What is not working as indicated by the docs?

Edit... OK if you actually mean sources please start here:
