Hi,
After beeing using XBMC on my dear Xbox for several years i'm thinking about using it with a Windows based HTPC.
I'm trying features on my laptop first. So i tried the video option "Upscale SD content" but the only result i have is a green screen.
My laptop isn't recent (a centrino duo T1800 or something likle this with 1Gb Ram and a poor intel graphic chipset).
I tried on my Work's laptop (centrino duo 2400, 2gb and ATI mobility X1600) with the same result.
Do you know if the upscale option is working great on other configuration. Non upscaled SD divx rendered with poor quality on my TV using PC+ VGAcompared to ma xbox plugged with a Scart.
Can the laptop missing some horsepower? (SD content's seems laggy; espacially when fast forward). Or the Gpu's are too old (i understood that XBMC don't use GPU Yet).
Do you have an idea about a good pc configuration i can make to render HD and upscaled Divx?
Thank's
