Hi am syncronizing my video files from linux machine to windows. On linux files have pipe char in filename what is forbidde on windows machine and renamed into square sign that is basically ?.

Is there a way to fix it without changing filenames? Tried substitution in advanced configuration file but no luch.

Thread moved to OS independent support.

But from my not-so-technical knowledge, renaming is the only option. If Kodi is scraping them OK and the issue is just the appearance, then that can be changed in Kodi. But if it's not scraping, then the file itself would need changing.
