Scrapers not working
#1
If I try to scan anything to library it just hangs.  Here is my debug log:  https://paste.kodi.tv/xugomefufo.kodi

This follows after the upgrade.  My sources all stopped working as well so I had to re-attach them, the paths all changed.  This happens sometimes after I moved to linux from windows.  Pretty annoying.

Even after I refresh my sources, though, the scrapers don't work, none of them do.  I can only access things through video>files.

Thoughts/advice?

Full log thanks. That snippet is useless.

I did the enable debug/restart but that caused debug to turn off, so there's a lot of navigation in the log.

Thats not the full log.
You need to exit Kodi so the remainder of the log is dumped out of cache and written to the log file.
Make sure you try to scrape 3rd rock from the sun.

Yep, thats it but unfortunately not a lot of extra info that I was expecting.
Line 350 - 378 is the scraper searching for 3rd rock from the sun and that seems to be working ok
Then line 384 there is a mouse click which I am not sure what that is and is possibly cancelling the scraping process.
Then scraping stops.

What is that mouse click?

That's me stopping the scrape after a minute and a half with nothing happening.  Normally a scrape is done in a few seconds.  I can wait for 30 minutes and the same result.  When I first encountered this a few days ago I let it run overnight, 10ish hours later it was 3% done.

I can let it run longer if you think it will help.

No, it won't, thanks.
There's obviously something wrong with your install. Unfortunately I am not a Linux user, so I can't tell anything about your install or packages, if they are correct or need updating.
Maybe @wsnipex might spot the issue?

Ok, I didn't check that far down the log. Yep, curious that 12 minute delay.

I don't mind reinstalling but I lose my watch history every time.  Any guidance on saving my watch history and then re-importing after re-install?  I'm googling and there are a lot of peripheral discussions.

Sure, give this a try... https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=164652
It won't save UserRating but playcount, lastwatched and resume points are saved.
Make a backup before you delete existing Kodi data folder (wiki), but wait a little while in case a Linux user spots the issue in the log.

from the log it looks like as if either tvdb was abysmally slow or the scraper itself was. It's hard to believe scraping any series would take >10mins, so this is something for the scraper devs

All the scrapers are like this, so what are the odds?  I'll reinstall Kodi at some point soon.
