Just some thoughts:
1. Did you test this command line outside of XBMC/RCB?
2. Is your retroarch.sh executable?
3. Maybe there is an issue with the smb path. You could try to create a link to your rom folders and use this instead.

I'm curious about the above code as i have tested RCB using Frodo (Openelec v3.2.4) and Gotham (Openelec v3.95.6)
This was just to differ between Dharma and Eden. Maybe I should change this line to "Assuming we are on Eden (or above)".

Not sure if there is an option in retroarch. But I could ignore the bios files during import in RCB. But as said above, this could take some time until it is implemented.

So mame is working. But picky somewhere somehow.

I guess you picked the wrong log file. When XBMC froze you had to restart XBMC and this will have cleared the log file. In this case you should upload the "xbmc.old.log" file.

Anyway, my guess is that you ran into the "load RCB twice-trap". When you start RCB and it takes a bit longer as you are used to and you try to start RCB again, it will freeze XBMC. I have no idea why this happens and how to stop it, sorry.

But if it freezes again when you are opening the menu, please send me your old log file.

Not per configuration. But you could edit the skin files directly. I could give you some details if you are interested.

Here is how to change developer to rating in default Confluence skin:

- Edit "XBMC\addons\script.games.rom.collection.browser.dev\resources\skins\Default\720p\script-Rom_Collection_Browser-main.xml"
- Change the following lines (429 and 901)
<label>$ADDON[script.games.rom.collection.browser 50003]:</label>
to:
<label>$ADDON[script.games.rom.collection.browser 54003]:</label>

- and these lines (441 and 913)

cheers malte , that worked perfect, ill have some more scrapers to upload soon , I plan on doing the full set of databases according to emumovies , so probably 100+ systems, that rating tag helped as the databases contain them

Thanks for your patience. At this time I was hoping to make better progress with RCBs database layout changes. But in the meantime I realized that I had a bit too much on my plate. I will try to do it in smaller chunks now. Still no promise that it can be done soon.

Where does the data come from? Is it emumovies (download utility)? I guess I have to ask first before I will be able to upload the data in RCBs wiki. Don't want to get in trouble with the original authors.

At the moment Rom collection doesn't show any games at all until I select clean game database. After that it shows them normally: I use the latest Test version and XBMC 13.

It looks like RCB and the RCB wizard (triggered by the skin) are starting at the same time. Not sure if this causes any problems. Can you try to wait some time after you start XBMC before you start RCB? Just to see if this is the problem.
