Hi, I installed the Kodi addon with my Kodi that is on my Fire Stick 4K, downloaded the wrapper too, and put the playback on "Android". However, it doesent play anything. If you pick a video, it tries to load on the wrapper but then I get the "we're unable to start the video due to service issue" error and thats it. I wonder if anyone knows what might be the solution. Im stumped. Thanks.

First check, if the prime video app works with this video.
If yes, upload kodi.log and logcat (if possible) from your device here.
@Steveedge:
4k through inputstream isn't possible with this addon.
You can enable "use android app for 4K videos" at inputstream settings, to pass the video to the native prime video app.
These setting works only with "4K", "UHD" or "Ultra HD" in the video title.
Just for clarification: only with an Widevine L1 secured device it is possible to stream HD content. All other devices are limited to SD quality.
Btw. with the latest update v0.9.4, that have been released yesterday, the infinity caching times should be fixed.

@lunarsoul - your log is stuffed full of banned addons (wiki) and repos. By the forum rules (wiki) that you accepted and agreed to abide by when you signed up here, no support is available to your device here whilst they are still installed.

Hi all!
I had the same issue. It helped to remove orphaned addons using Settings -> System -> Addons -> Manage dependencies. mechanicalsoup was among them. Reinstalling amazon addon then worked.

I am getting a "Amazon VOD Error check the log " notification every time I start up . Where is the log file for the add on?
The Addon seems to be working ok just this notification all the time.
I have the "Kodi Log reader" addon installed but there is no errors listed there specific to this adon

Thanks a lot for this great add-on. I hope it will support HD on Windows in the future.
Actually, I must choose between :
- watching my Amazon movies with the add-on (on my windows PC): so I have audio 5.1 (Kodi convert DD+ to DD -my receiver Sony STR-DB840 only support DD or DTS) but not video HD.
- watching my Amazon movies with the Android app casting to my Chromecast (first generation): so I have video HD but not audio 5.1 (i think my TV Sony KDL-40R470A)doesn't support DD+ to DD conversion; even DD doesn't seem to be passthroughed to my receiver).
Maybe there exists a kind of audio extractor to place between a Chromecast and the TV, which extract audio and convert DD+ to DD through optical out or alternative to Chromecast with DD+ conversion?
Any ideas are welcomes

Thanks for the add-on. I get errors on both Kodi 18.9 and 19.1. Movies/TV shows appear in the list (though sometimes takes a good while to load and sometimes never loads at all). But when I click on entries, nothing plays. I get an error "servers returned no content" . Any suggestions? Thanks!

Was the "add to Library" feature ever developed for this addon ?
I had been using Osmosis to achieve this but there have been issues with updating new episodes recently.The Netflix addon has achieved this so could it be implemented directly in this addon too ?

Still getting errors and currently on 19.1. Same videos work fine on Amazon Video app on Android (Beelink GT1 w/ Android 7.1.2). How can I get log files to you? Thanks!
