Video Plays as Audio Input Stream on MINIX U22-XJ

Just got a new MINIX box with Android 9.  When I play a video using Input Stream selected the screen shows the Kodi player for an audio track.  There is just the poster artwork and audio,  no video.  

Video Works ok on my old MINIX  U9 running Android 6.0.1 and on my Sony Phone with Android 9.  So it is specific to the U22-xj. 
It plays ok in Android mode but that is just SD picture. 
If I force the Input Stream settings to Video only it just refuses to play anything.

This is going to be tricky since MINIX sure is not going to investigate some one else app.  So can you please help me?

Any thoughts to what is happening or how to trouble shoot or investigate?   I have been trying fresh installs and numerous setting changes with no luck.

I did more testing today on the Android 9 devices and the problem is not unique to MINIX.  On two devices SD videos worked fine but not HD videos. On the third the problem was on both HD and SD  . Works ok on 6.01 and 7.12. boxes.

I would stick with the older boxes buy they are slow and lock up if you have too may apps running in the back ground>

Any advice?

Would it be possible to insert the shoetitle in the episode information?

The idea is that this information is present when making a request via jsonrpc.

I'm in Canada, with a Canadian Amazon Prime account. CBC Olympics coverage is included in our Amazon Prime Video. All my Prime TV and movies play fine, but when I try to play any of the Olympics content, the Amazon VOD addon throws an error "Not available in your country". The Olympics content plays fine in a web browser though, so it's an addon-only issue.

I have "North America region" set in my Amazon VOD addon options.

Any ideas?

The error message is "This Video is unavailable in your Country" ?
This sounds like a add-on bug. but I think you need to provide logs.
The issue can only be reproduced with Canadian Prime Video accounts and networks.

So this plugin is now officially broken and no longer supported? 
Cannot get any of the plugin version to play something anymore.

I too can no longer see anything, the add-on no longer reproduces anything

what are you guys on about? It's working fine. Only problem is no 4k. Everything else works as expected.

Well I'm pretty sure 3000 and me aren't the only ones it's still working for.
Wouldn't it be a lot easier for you to provide more info on your issues?

Yes I am. Latest build. Although I'm sure it will work with previous versions/nightlies too.

No worries, I'll give you the instructions how to install it. (It's very very easy).

First go here:

1. Download the repo for Matrix repository.sandmann79-py3.plugins-1.0.0-matrix.zip
2. Go to Kodi and "install from zip file". 
3. Go to the installed repo and find "AMAZON VOD" under Video Add-ons.
4. Install it and log in. 

I guess the hardest part was to find the repo.
