is it a thru ac3 passthru in xbmp? it seams like it dont get out of sync as much anyways...
is it something you could look into?

if xbmp is using a "real" ac3 passthru. you should ask them how they solwed the out-of-sync issue xbmc have...

yes i know you did but i thought you only did xbmc today and some one else took over...
i use the 2003-12-05 release of xbmp now. did you do that?
some one at x-s, called monkeyh0, claims to be the developer of booth xbmp and xbmc... and if its so, why just fix audio out of sync in xbmp but not in xbmc?

i wanted to know if it 12-05 was your build.
as you just said, 12-05 xbmp do not have real ac3 passthru, was all i wanted to know cus in the release info of 12-05 it says it have!!!

why dont you post in the xbmp forums coz your asking about xbmp and not here in the xbmc forums. and oh.. if youre using xbmc.. they already solved the av sync issue as of the 12-11 release :d

reson why i dont post in some xbmp forum is because the sync issu is a xmbc issue...
strange cus a have ac3 sync issues in xbmc 12-11 release...
this one for example:

well maybe its your video that has the problem i can play [kaa]_noir_05.dvd(ac3-5.1)[5c0bc733].avi without any av sync issues. also i can play nge-remastered_ep25[a2000a][divx-ac3][94056d38].avi
file size: 263mb
resolution 720x540
duration 23m 22s
bitrate 448kbps
audio ac-3 acm decompressor
video frame rate: 23fps
data rate 192kbps
video sample size 24bit
video compression divx
without any problems

i also do see some sync issues still. but not much. it is getting better and better with each release it seems.
