[RELEASE] Hyper Launcher - A ROM launcher using HyperSpin assets
Amazing work teeedubb!! I love Rocket Launcher and use it a lot I don't really use Hyperspin anymore so this will definitely come in handy. I've been trying to use Kodi for everything that I can.

Btw does anyone have an example Rocketlauncher.bat? I can't find one

Everything is working and launching just fine so far! Though whenever I add a poster it never seems to work.

Try adding it as a icon or thumb - different views and skins use different art types.

Nah still no dice man. Once I choose the poster it shows up in info after closing the art selection window then upon going back it disappears. I'm using Aeon Madnox btw if that helps. I enabled the "create system artwork" option but I get this error in the log

Code:

Btw is it possible to add rom info like we have for movies/episodes and also filter out roms we don't have?

That setting is for users that setup the add-on prior to having individual system folders, if you've set it up recently ignore that setting.

A page or two back is a test version that displays alot more info and uses joebligg's info file

Oh cool ok I'm trying out the test version now. Where do we put Billy's xml files? And do we need the ods files too?

Thanks Billy for your hard work on these xmls!

The xml files are drop in replacements for hyperlist xmls. The ods or csv files are not required.

I thought so, I did that but I get this error for all systems.

Ugh, text encoding rears its ugly head again. Thanks for the error log, I'll look in to it.

Thanks for your awesome add-on! Been looking for something like this for ages!

Was wondering is there an option to make videos play straight away or is 1 second the quickest possible? I have tried change time to 0 seconds but then it doesn't work.

on a side note the database editor is usable and contains around 190 systems now http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/files/file/1...fo-editor/

if you want to check the csvs and up to the git.
I'm hoping to add a tab to the gui and buttons to export the csvs to various formats for different frontends

Does anyone have a good rename tool to use with this? In other words, one that doesn't require Hyperspin to be installed? I know there's Don's Hyperlist Tools, but the Rename tool in that that spits an error without having a Hyperspin install.

There are a bunch of others here:

Im pretty sure this one works independently from HS (but I only used renaming tools while I had HS installed):
