no, i mean that if i then edit another film and then go back to the previous one, the changes aren't there.

if it makes a difference, i'm connecting to a samba drive, possibly permissions? it shouldn't be though.

I'm using direct network path, and I never encountered what you describe. I can think of 2 things you might try: use UNC paths and check the Ember log.

I suspect its probably something changed with scraping etc, I dislike the way that some of the scraping is done, i.e web page scraping vs other means like api's etc, one of my goals is to try and improve on this.

You rock really. I downloaded the new Ember and was thinking oh great another patched updated. I was wrong this new version 1.3.0.2 is faster then all other versions @ cleaning database etc. It doesn't feel like a beta any more. Good job!

All issue I had was my fault. Smile

here a strange issue not keeping the dates in the list next to movie title. I have it checked to add dates and after it does the re scanning they are gone again. Any ideas?

I translated Ember to german.
Its just the program not the help or anything else.

Its only a first draft so some stuff is still english or not translated perfectly but most stuff should be understandable.

Just copy the .xml into your "Langs" folder of Ember.
Start Ember go to Edit->Settings.
Interface and select the german language File.
Press ok and restart Ember.
Done!

You can just use the default scraper and it works like a charm.
