Sorry, I'm only supporting Frodo now. You should be able to get things going with old versions. But then you can't have the repo installed....

how do i go about making newznab automatically start up when i launch xbmc?

i would really love to be able to launch xbmc and newznab already be ready to go does anyone know how to do this and could possible explain it to someone completely new to all of this thanks!

im starting to have the same issue with this addon as well once i click a movie it starts up plays for about 30 seconds and then it pops up the dialog asking if i would like to just download or delete the item. happens everytime as well.

I was checking out nzbs.org and I noticed that they are able to show the names of the files inside the rars and run mediainfo on the ones that have the coded names like 8830983.28. This is something new they are doing in the past week. Could this method be used with pneumatic to decode the file names and play back these files?

Sorry but no. Finding the file name is trivial when the first rar is home. However finding the first rar is tricky/impossible. The rar names are hidden in the par2 file and based on their check sums, par2 will rename once all files are home...

Haven't tested this, but this is how i would install sickbeard with strm support on an openelec system.

1. Install sabnzbd-suite from openelec
2. Make sure allow_streamming is set to 1 in "/storage/.xbmc/userdata/addon_data/service.downloadmanager.SABnzbd-Suite/sabnzbd.ini"

3. Go to "/storage/.xbmc/addons/service.downloadmanager.SABnzbd-Suite/SickBeard"
4. Go to akuiraz pull request https://github.com/midgetspy/Sick-Beard/pull/523/files
5. Then manually merge the code

6. Don't update sickbeard afterwards

The logs doesn't say anything usefull. Try with a different index site and/or reduce the cache time and reload.

Yep that did it. I used a different naber and it is now working great.

Hey Popeye!

Real sorry to bother you, but I can't seem to get Newznab (0.2.4) to work. Pneumatic works flawlessly (I'm on Frodo 12.2 - OpenELEC distribution).

I've tried several Newznab compatible sites (Nzbzombie, NZB7) and I can't seem to find their site id. Only the API. What do I put in the "site id" field? If anything?

Anyway, after putting in the site's name, address and api I hit ok, and I get the add-on's settings screen back again. Another click on it gets me back to the add-ons list with nothing happening. So, bottom line: can't seem to get past the setup screen and start searching for nzb's.

I don't get an error message so not sure if the log file will be of help, but if so - will be happy to present it!

Hey popeye, can you add a way for other add-ons to interface with Pneumatic. I would was talking to Bstrdsmkr and he said if you can give him the way to interface pneumatic he will add it to 1channel just like he added couchpotato addon.
