I finally thought I had everything working on my new Asrock ION with Ubuntu and XBMC and LIRC set up as Windows MCE remote (old), so I triumphantly carried it from the office to the living room to set it up.
I then started a movie and pressed the green Start button on the MS remote to get the menu, and woe is me, the Xbox 360 started up! I can also see that when I put the Asrock in and out of suspend, the Xbox 360 gleefully turns on and off with it.
I am going to replace the MS remote with my Harmony, but obviously I can't use the signals that the MS remote uses.
I've read about this:

Does this use some other signals that won't interfere with the Xbox 360?
Is there another solution?
EDIT: Oh dear, it also happens the other way around, so when I start the Xbox 360 with my Harmony, the Asrock also starts. Will it even be possbiel to have these two to co-exist when using the Microsoft MCE IR?
