Yeah something is wrong, I was scraping fine last night but now it takes forever and only like 1 image comes up.

all my files are stored in movie name (year)
but it seems Ember ignores it because it changed the movie info to a movie from 1955.

This is the format of my folders, and movies, and Ember has no problems for me. I'm not exactly sure what you meant by "changed the movie info to a movie from 1955" though.

Same thing here, except I haven't upgraded Ember and it was previously working fine. So I'm wondering if it may be unrelated to Ember itself.Oo

Do you guys see that it is only TMDB.org that is slow? I wonder if there are issues with the site.
There were, seems OK now. They were having issues with their CDN.

Also is there a scraper for just using themoviedb? IMDB and foreign titles seem to not translate correctly very often.

snowjim Wrote:Hi,

Is there any way to mark movies/episodes that I have seen in Ember? I have notice the right menu > Mark but it does not seems to do anything with the nfo file that XBMC reads?

I know that the watched propertie was removed but I was under the impression that it was added to XBMC again?

When I start and stop a episode on XBMC it will be marked.

It would be great If I could set this in Ember so even if I change the shares I will still see which movies/episodes I have seen.
I'm not aware of this functionality. XBMC stores the watched flag in its database so I guess Ember would need access to the DB. Not sure if I want this Eek

But according to this Wiki entry there is a "watched" flag in the NFO file. Are you referring to this? I believe it's only read once while initially adding the media, isn't it? What happens if you switch to "unseen" again? Does XBMC change the NFO accordingly? Wouldn't work for me as my two main XBMC instances don't have write access to the media folders ...

Anyway, I believe this flag is not (yet) set by Ember ...
just started to work with ember ...

I didnt found out how to enable tmdb scraper? Could anyone tell me what I have to do for this?
All three may have been mentioned in this thread, but would love to bring them up (again). Hope one of the devs will be pick it up:

1) Would be great to see imdbapi.com as a scraping option (not instead, but in addition to the current scrapers. Also, do not see tmdb as a scraper option?

2) Would be great to scrape from hd-trailers.net and not only from youtube? Does the youtube scraping with a youtube link work again?

3) Any chance to have the fanart / posters more efficient? Currently, it downloads all of them, which is very messy and takes a lot of time. Any chance to do this differently?

Thanks in advance!!!

Okay, then it sounds like we need to suggest a feature in XBMC. It is a simple functionality in a Mediacenter to show what videclips I have already seen an it would help alot!

Where do you suggest features for XBMC?

Might be easier if Ember accesses the XBMC database directly to set/change the flag?

What do you mean by "youtube scraping with a youtube link work again?"? Does what work exactly? Do you mean the addition of a Youtube link to the NFO or the playback of Youtube trailers within XBMC?

I was able to scrape from hd-trailers.net using Ember in 1.3.0.2 using some of the XML scrapers if memory serves me correctly Smile

Already mentioned here: http://forum.xbmc.org/showpost.php?p=984...tcount=349 but you can also check the main web page for notes: http://ember.purplepig.net/news/8

Aha I found one here : http://trac.xbmc.org/ticket/11700#comment:7 I did not see how to vote on it but I gave it a comment.
Is there a way to update my TV series without scrapping images again or if I just hit "OK" on the current images will it keep what I have?

Orginally I didn't have "Show Missing Epidodes" selected but now I would like to do that but it appears to do so I must rescrape. All of my images are what I would like so I don't want to mess them up.

How do I go about this?

this one works for me: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=7PXGOAS0

I'll have to look into putting the older version of ffmpeg back in as part of the distro, I thought I had resolved the issues with hanging but apparently not.

I'm still around, been lurking a little, last week was a busy week for me so not much Ember work got done, but I'm hoping to move forward with some stuff this week. Just wanted to keep everyone aware I'm still alive and working as much as I can on this great project.
