after reading the readme txt all it says to do is copy the xboxmediacenter.xml and default.xbe over to the root of c:
as of now i moved the xbmc folder to c:\xbmc
edited the xml file to show this:
<!-- when using xbmc as dashboard, define home directory here !-->
<!-- and copy the xbe with this config file to c:\ !-->
<home>c:\xbmc</home>
evox still shows up... help please?

you need to rename the default.xbe to whatever evox is? usually evoxdash.xbe.
it is the bios that looks for that first.

copy all files to wherever you want (kets say to e:\apps\xbmc). now copy the default xbe and the xboxmediacenter.xml to the root of c:. set the home tag in the xboxmediacenter.xml to the path you put all xbmc files at (in our sample case e:\apps\xbmc). now rename the default.xbe to whatever your bios boots.
