I've been playing with Transparency and I like a lot of aspects of it.
But I can't get the info panel to show only on demand. Normall on a keyboard that would be with the letter I.

If I set the settings for each View to show it, it shows automatically.
If I set the settings for each View to Hide Info Panel, I can't seem to get it to show up on demand.

What am I missing?

the info panel and the info dialog are two different things.

the info panel will show automatically after a few seconds (this can be disabled in skin settings)

the info dialog is the one that shows up when you press 'i'.

Thanks, I didn't realize they were too separate things. So I guess it was the "info dialog" that wouldn't come up. But apparently restarting XBMC fixed that, because it is working now. I was worried there was no info dialog in Transparency or something.
