Hi,
It often take 10 - 15 seconds to change channel in XBMC connecting to a remote Myth backend over gigabit Ethernet. Anyone know of a way to speed these channel changes up?

Try tvheadend! Takes about 3 sec for me

When someone posts in the mythtv section, they don't want a troll answer like this. There are many reasons to use MythTV over tvheadend.
Try changing the wait before starting playback setting. I think its under the second category in the live tv settings. My channel changing time is about 5 seconds.

Does mythfrontend take that long to switch channels? If so, you know its not an xbmc issue.
