Hi folks,
please don't stone me for asking this question again but so far I couldn't find a decent solution.
A couple of years ago I started to convert my HI8 videos to MPEG2 und further into to the DVD format (incl. burning them onto DVDs). This collection contains now almost 100 private movies (mainly my kids) but it has also about 200 bought movies. When I saw XBMC the first time a few years ago I decided to put them all onto a HD (regular DVD rip - VOB's + IFO) and imported them into XBMC (PC). For the 'real' movies I added them into the DB (including information, fan-art and so on). It works so flawless that any new DVD we're buying gets ripped right away and imported - and finally played from the PC rather than from the DVD player. When I heard about XBMC an Android I got excited about the possibility to do the same on my Tab. However, it does not work the same way as on the PC. I can import (with the correct scraper and content-setting) them (pulling movie info and cover) and I can see them in the 'Movies' section - but I can not play it from here. It complains about 'not being able to play this content'. In the files view however, I can play it from the top movie folder but than it plays each VOB individually (with a short interruption in between).
Is there a explanation/solution?
