hey all!
been searching through these forums forever it seems, even used the search function!
i recently reinstalled xbmc on my v1 xbox and am trying to connect kai to my powermac running kaid. xbmc is able to detect the engine running but then tells me that my username/password are rejected by the orbital server and to check my configuration.
after reading up and down these forums i've learned i need to go to settings>my programs>xlink kai to change them but the menu option isn't there. i've looked everywhere i can think of for a solution but can't seem to find one.
i've tried erasing the saves from tdata/udata as well as the cache on z: with no luck. i've also added

<username>*</username>
<password>*</password>
</xlink>
to my centre [-forum-auto-response- today's lesson; our name is xboxmediacenter].xml. doesn't seem to make a difference.
i'm running xbmc 10-31-05 (rs build) with project mayhem iii le.
i've also tried pmii & iii but i still get the same menu options.
is there any way to change the login/pass information manually? i can't seem to find any xml or other configuration files that keep the info.
