Hi new to XBMC,

Need a little help, just purchased a G-Box Midnight a few days ago with XBMC pre-installed
and so far no real problems, just a slow learning process for a silver surfer.
Whilst initially setting up XBMC I must have press a wrong entry somewhere and now although
XBMC seems to work fine as best as I can tell, I get a flashing error message every 30 seconds
or so at the bottom of the screen saying
"TVHeadend HTSP Client Connection Lost"
can anybody explain to me in simple terms how I can remove this message.

Welcome to the XBMC forums.

You must have inadvertently enabled PVR support, specifically Tvheadend HTSP Client. Do the following: System/Settings > Add-ons > Enabled Add-ons > PVR clients. Disable Tvheadend and any other clients that are listed.
