I was wondering if its possible to start watching a movie on my Android tablet than pause it and continue watching from my windows xbmc in the loungeroom?

or

a nightly build (wiki) for both Android and Windows, then use UPnP/Share (wiki).

Some hints:
Make sure both devices are on the same lan
Enable Upnp on the windows xbmc
Add the window xbmc as a upnp source on the android xbmc

Thanks Vidman got this all working, Now im playing a video on my tablet and have hit pause, now what do i do? thanks so much for the help

you still have two separate libraries in the above post I see. Then I don't think the pause - resume on different machines work.
Install mysql on your windows machine (or a nas if you have it). Move the xbmc library to that database. Now share the database to the two different devices.

I've followed all the steps on http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=HOW...ng_up_XBMC on a fresh install of XBMC but for some strange reason when i add my files it wont save the 'Set Content' settings (so it doesn't know if its a show or movie)?

None of this is needed if you use upnp

I've got UPNP working and the files are shared, Now is there a way to get my TV Shows and Movies to show up in the correct folders (on the main menu), Also is there a good theme for android?, But also what steps do i take to pause playback on the android and start playing it on my TV?
