Hi all,
Here's the situation:
With XBMC 12.3 out now, I upgraded my Mac Mini to Mavericks and then installed XBMC 12.3 after that completed. I've been successfully running 12.2 on it with it connected to a Linux box running MythBuntu 0.25 since Frodo first came out.
After upgrading this morning, I now get an error message when trying to watch Live TV (recording or a live TV channel):
No PVR Client has been started yet. Wait for the PVR Client.
Please check your configuration or check the log
I then went to my Mythbuntu machine and installed any updates via dpkg - it did a minor upgrade to MythTV, but still running 0.25+fixes.
I also searched Google and saw these two threads:
http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=173515 (Per this thread, I can confirm that the MythTV frontend on my Mac does connect and play back. Rebooting my MythTV server did not fix the issue)
http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=173593 (I did clear out the text in my IP6 setting in the MythTV backend, did not fix the issue).
When I do reboot my MythTV server, XBMC does pop up a message (I forget the text) that it's no longer connected and then when it comes back, it sees again. I can go to Settings -> Addons and Enable and Disable it, but re-enabling doesn't make it work. I have verified the settings are correct.
Here's a pastebin of my XBMC log: http://pastebin.com/qwnWHTCh - you can see that it is connect to MythTV, so not sure why this is happening.
Any tips or help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks!
Paul
