I get an error:

"The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur if the windows installer is not correctly installed. Contact your support personnel for assistance"

I have followed all the Microsoft and top 3 Google results for this issue, and still receive this error. Other programs still instal fine.

My computer is windows 7.

Tested our version (http://tinymediamanager.googlecode.com/f...ll_win.msi) and it worked here.

hmm... seems your windows installer is corrupt somehow?!
Try reinstalling

(ups - NOT for win7!)

edit:
ok, for windows 7 you should try following:
open the CMD shell as administrator (type "CMD" in windows start menu, do a right click, run-as Admin)
do an "sfc /scannow"

If that does not help, try
Msiexec /unregister
Msiexec /regserver

Thanks for the help. The scannow found some errors, but still have the same error. the Msiexec has changed the error to

I am busy creating a portable version (a netinstaller, which does not need to get installed). Would you like to test it?
