Kodi v15 (Isengard) and Confluence version
#1
Hi Ronie,

I'm a bit confused about the version of confluence shipped with v15 of Kodi. Looking at the version in my installation (Windows)

The addon.xml says: 2.7.3

Looking at the repo the change to bump the version number was on: Jun 27, 2015
https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/commit/a737...7c882ffaf4

However a change that you merge in for TvTunes on: Jun 21, 2015
https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/commit/fb0d...751747b8ed

Does not appear in the 2.7.3 version?

Am I missing something?

Thanks

Rob

It's not merged for 15.0

Thanks Martijn - I'm not too familiar with Git, so all seems a little confusing for me when browsing
https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/tree/master...confluence

I took the simple view that anything on that link before the date that bumped the version in addon.xml would also be in there Sad

Will this be targeted for the next release (v15.1)?

Thanks

If you look at the commit you can see at the top in what branch or tagged version it is which shows "master".
You would need to ask @ronie if he also wants to add it to 15.1

Hi Ronie,

Please would it be possible to get this one in to 15.1 before it is released - I guess it would speed things up as it wouldn't keep trying to launch the script when entering the video library etc.

Thanks

imo we should only backport serious crash-boom-bang bugfixes.
cosmetics/improvements are no backport candidates as far as i'm concerned.
Do not PM or e-mail Team-Kodi members directly asking for support.

Hi Ronie,

When I originally submitted the pull request for this it was a fair while before the v15 release - I has originally assumed it would be going into the v15 release.

Is there ever a crash/boom issue with a skin? Looking at what I "think" has been added for v15.1 so far, they seem pretty small, e.g. addition of an id etc.

Thanks

Rob
