This is very good idea.
I use my Remote for my children in my car. They are in the back and I cannot see their screen. They do not know how to use Kodi (too young) and so I use the remote to avoid removing the screen every time to change what they watch (or when they press where they should not !!!

).
So This idea could help me looking to what is on screen (a refresh even every few seconds would be enough, the more the better). It could help me anwer : ' what is that ?? ' ... and not seeing the screen, make it quite ... a guessing game.
it seems yatse (on android) has a way to stream from kodi to remote but it is not a mirror as i'd lik, juste another stream (I only have IOs remote so not tried).
Hope it give this idea another use case
setup in car :
- 2 Android tablets with Kodi
- 1 IOs remote (official one)
- 1 WiFi AP + HardDrive to stream media.
- All is in the same WiFi network
