I am using Mimic 2.x.

If I install a new skin, play around with it then switch back to Mimic I lose all the submenu items I have created.
Is this normal behaviour?

I have a backup from before installing the new skin, so is there a file I need to copy back?
And does that mean I need to switch between each skin's 'version' of that file?

Mimic 2.x uses script.skinshortcuts for the submenu. If you change the menu in another skin that also uses the script, my guess is that you will see those changes in Mimic. That's how it is supposed to work.

It's been quite a while since I've used Mimic 2.x though...
