so i had a mythbuntu setup for about 2 years, it worked great! about 3 months ago the motherboard on the server went out. ive been using the hdhomerun app and it is terrible. i'm just seeing if myth is still my best option? i'm not really good with linux, one thing i would really like is to have the server more like a nas for file storage. all other computers in the house are windows machines and i would really like to load the server up with HDs and be able to move files from our windows machines to the server. i tried to get the mythbuntu to act as a file server and could never get widows to see it.
