I have just done a fresh install of my whole system, Im using Mediaportal 1.18 with TVserverKodi 1.15.0.137  and Kodi 17.6 with Add on 2.4.19

My questions are

1) Am i using the latest version of both "add ons" ?

2) for some strange reason everything is working except the recording, I can set a timer and it will record, but I get no notification in Kodi of the fact that a timer has been set, previously I used to get a red circle if I was recording a single episode and multiple circles if i was recording a series.

Any help on what Ive missed, I have spent all day fiddling and got no further

The Kodi addon auto updates.
the TvServer addon has it's own website to download from. You'rs is only a few days old, so it's close enough.

As for the recording, I have no answer for you. I don't do recording of live TV.
