it is not true - just try one more time and dvd will find. Plus use option pcdvdrom in advancedsettings.

Hi mode2006, if you use <usepcdvdrom> in advance settings the dvd drive would work for files but not for AudioCD and DVD-Video, I guess the Windows port of XMBC does not support these yet.

the autodetection just don't work for the windows port yet.
Audio CDs should work with the pcdvdrom thingy.
