Hello, I just got a shield tv and I've seen some tutorials on adding channels on the main screen as swim lanes. For some reason, when I try to add a new channel, there is no kodi option at all.
Do you need to enable something with kodi in order to make the option available? (I've already created some playlists.) Or is it a bug with the latest version? Or disable because it's not working properly?

After reading around, some people had the same issue. I decided to try and update my default kodi version using this tutorial :

Right after the update, you just have to re-open kodi, exit et voilà.
