CPU usage reporting
#1
Hi,

if I run a movie in XBMC for Linux and bring up the info panel both cores are reported as CPU0 and CPU1. If I do the same in Windows only CPU0 is reported.

What does this mean exactly, is it a matter of how XBMC fetches the information?

Yep, Windows reports the usage only as overall value (thanks MS). There's a possibility to get it for each CPU via wmi but this is rather slow and therefore not used.
Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forum before posting.
Do not e-mail XBMC-Team members directly asking for support. Read/follow the forum rules.
For troubleshooting and bug reporting please make sure you read this first.
