Can we have support for thumbnail previews in Kodi's internal video player?
There seems to be a standard for this which comes from Roku, using .bif files -
https://developer.roku.com/docs/develope...ck-mode.md
and a tool which can generate the bif files -
https://developer.roku.com/docs/develope...reation.md
Both Emby and Plex use this if you enable the thumbnail feature in them. The bif files are not big at all and provide a very nice visual similar to whats seen in many other streaming services.
I found a previous topic on this - https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=355790, but am posting here as this section seems more active.
