Android Kodi kills the whole audio on my Android tv
#1
Question
I'm a long time Kodi user, love the app, and this problem is kinda new

Last year I got a tv Android box (but not android tv, it's android 32 in fact). It's a pretty solid hardware, amlogic s922x, 6gb ram if I'm not mistaken. It's a good tv box, pretty up to date

I'm using the current Kodi version from the play store

And it shows the following problems
- overall audio volume is a lot lower than other players
- if I open certain types of video files - more "modern" type of files - it won't play audio. In fact it KILLS the audio on the whole device and I have to do a restart to get audio again
- older type of files (Avi for instance) plays fine, albeit with the lower volume
- some types of modern files also plays fine. The killing audio varies from file to file

Should I get a different version of Kodi? One of the "nighties"? Which one? A direct link would help

I know probably nobody will have a direct answer for my problem - it's pretty specific - but if someone can point to other Kodi versions I could try it would be already a great help

To receive meaningful assistance you will need to provide a full debug log.

The instructions are here... debug log (wiki)

If you are using the Basic Method, then ensure the following is applied...
1.Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging,
2.Restart Kodi
3.Replicate the problem.
4.Upload the log to Kodi Paste Site manually or use the Kodi Logfile Uploader. (wiki) With either method post the link to the log back here.

If you are using the Advanced Method ensure you have correctly created and applied the advancedsettings.xml file (wiki)

In both instances, you should see the word DEBUG throughout the log.

Note: Full logs only. No partial or redacted logs
Do NOT post your logs directly into the forum. Use the Kodi Paste Site. Post the link to your pasted log in the forum
