hi, i set vlc as external player and in most of the cases works..but in some cases as for ex:

i put the _ at beginning  of the stream to not insert live links here in my post but obviously it has to be removed when trying the example..

it fails...and only the default kodi player works...
is there a way to have the external player working also for links like this..??
if not vlc is there another..??

I'm getting either a "410 Gone" or a "403 Forbidden" error when trying to open the link in Firefox...

this is the link i get from kodi log and in kodi is well played with its internal default kodi player
but if you try in other player as in my ex vlc do not work
it works only if you delete a part i mean as this:

this works well
but i'd like to know why the kodi player is able to play the original link
and moreover if there is another player that is able to
because i'd like to choose it as external player too
