After displaying an image and navigating to another one (using comma/period or left/right keys) I would expect the selected image in the list would be the last image displayed, but it isn't, it's the first one; i.e. the selected image didn't change. Probably there are reasons for this behaviour, but it's not the one I'm used to in image viewers, and I find it annoying when browsing a large list, alternating list and display modes, because the navigation done in display mode is lost every time I go back to the list, so I have to navigate again to the image where I left display mode. Is there a setting or tweak to change this behaviour?

Thanks and sorry if this was already discussed (I would be surprised if I'm the only one who find this odd) but I didn't found anything about it.
